A Long Time Ago, In A Galaxy Far, Far Away.....

Guess what I did this weekend! The Family went to see Star Wars III. This was definitely the best of the prequels. And not because of the main characters, for sure. It was all about the droids. My favorite character is this guy:

He is the best character in all 6 films. Who's your favorite?

The rest of the weekend was school. Either thinking about school, being at school, or working on something for school. Good news, my part of the evil project is complete. I just need to transfer my notes to index cards.

This weekend we made our first visit to our clinical site. I candy-striped at this hospital, on the very same floor, oh, about a million years ago. It was a little surreal for me, because while they have remodeled the floor probably about 20 times since 1984, there are some things that are built in that have not been changed. Look over there, it's the dumbwaiter that goes to the pharmacy, and over there is the laundry chute that leads to the biggest laundry room I have ever seen! The nurse's station is still 80% the same. Weird, weird.

Look, they finally released the cover photo for this:

I so need a hat with a bird on the top! I can't wait for this book to come out.

To all my sweet commenters, I am sorry I have not replied to any of the comments left. That is because I get a stupid no-reply@blogger address. Grrrr...

So, I am breaking blog-protocol, and doing it this way.

Christie had inquired about a fabric that I had posted about...go here and be enamored of fun fabrics.

Thank you to Joan in Reno, who told me what my ugly bug is.

Thank you Jen for your empathy. Hopefully it will all be worth it, right?

Jessica, sure you can come to the island. Someone will have to fly the plane. :)

And thank you to all the others.

W. :)
