Thank you Secret Pal!!!
I got my prezzie! See....

The fabulous Ms. Modesitt's "Confession of a Knitting Heretic." This book has been on my wishlist forevah! And believe me, if anyone out there is a heretical knitter, this backward, left-handed, self-taught, ContinEnglish person is definitely one.
You did good, Secret Pal.
Other fun errands run at lunch time... picking up this:

That is my accident report. See the car crashing into me?

Grrrrr......
So the giftie definitely came at the right time. :)
My eyes are about to fall out of my head, I have been studying so much. I still feel totally unprepared. Everytime I think I have read all I possibly can, I remember something else I need to know. How I will ever remember all that I am learning is beyond me. Nurses of the world, you have my utmost admiration.
Tonight is the exam. Wish me luck.

Good luck on your exam. I'm amazed that you find time to knit at all, between being a nursing student and a mother. My husband is a nurse, and I remember watching what he went through in nursing school, and this was before we had children. I think you deserve respect and admiration, too.
Thanks. It is hard. I just keep telling myself it will all be worth it in the end.

((((Good exam vibes!!))))
I always feel like my brain is a sugar bowl, and as much as you would like to pour into it, it will only hold a certain amount.
I remember nursing school.. but I've forgotten third grade.
I also forget simple words. I was trying to ask an instructor a couple weeks back about "that stuff thats you put in the baby's eye thats not drops, but it's like lotion" and another classmate helped me to remember the word I wanted was 'ointment'. DOH. :P
